Hey everyone. Sorry that its been so long since I've written anything. To be honest I think I'm putting off a post that I don't want to write. But I want to put it out there that we have a lot of hard decisions to make right now, and we're in the process of figuring it all out. Soon I will let everyone know what we decide on. The path ahead is rough. It seems I have to chose to walk on glass or walk on hot coals. Neither seem very fun. I will choose what I feel is right for myself, and for my family. So.. decisions, and posts to come soon. In the meantime live your life like there's no tomorrow. I know its cliche, but do it. Remind yourself of what you love- and who you love. Tell them. Then tell them again. Figure out your favorite things.. sounds, smells, sights.. and surround yourself with them. For me- favorite sound has got to be Kathleen's glove at first when I threw a real hard one, and she caught it
just right to give the loud POP.. of course followed by the umpires booming "Out!" Smell.... that's a tough one.. I think it might have to be when my mom is cooking a bunch of peppers with tons of garlic on the stove and the whole house is filled with the aroma. Anyways, live, love, and laugh. For me!
Lots of Love,
Sammy

Hi Sam,
Haven't seen or talked to you in forever! It's amazing how our entire graduating class has managed to spread out to all corners of the world in just 3 years... I thought I would let you know that you are in my prayers and thoughts daily and have been basically since the beginning of your battle. I am a frequent visitor on your blog page and am sincerely hoping for the best. I also wanted to let you know that your attitude and outlook on everything is truly an inspiration to me. Keep fighting.
Best,
Katie Proux
Such wise advice, Sam. We all need to be reminded to make the most of each day and embrace and enjoy the ones we love and live each day as if it's our last day. Because no one ever knows what's in the future. Thanks for sharing your struggle with us, we learn so much about life from what you and your family have endured. We are praying for your healing and peace in your hearts as you weigh your options. Sending you big hugs and good vibrations!
Dear Sammy,
I am also a frequent visitor to your blog site although we have never met (I'm a friend of your Aunt Mary's)...
I wish you such strength at this time. Your optimism and sense of humor is something that my family and I talk about often. You have made such a tremendous impact on so many people through your blog --I thank you for opening (and sometimes re-opening) my eyes to so much.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you every step of your journey.

Hey Lady.
Glad you posted, I've missed your voice, or my interpretation of your voice via the web. You're in my thoughts and prayers of course.
Perhaps, you should post alex's version of walking on glass for a little inspiration.
Much Love My Friend.
