Hey everyone.. I went home yesterday (Tuesday). My breathing is back to normal, they never found anything from the biopsy which is a good thing. We just assume it was a small infection I had since I was sick, and once my white counts came back up they fought it off so I'm good again. I'm home until Monday when i go back for 5-6 days for round 2 of chemo. Until then I'm catching up on some rest at home and relaxing for a few days enjoying the time off. My parents are turning into little nurses since I'm getting some TPN nutrition at home b/c I'm still not eating, so they're learning how to use my port and do all these things. It's kinda funny to watch them get all doctor serious (shhh). Ooops sorry mom and dad. Anyways, I'm feeling not too bad for now so thats good. Lots of love

Hey Sammy,
I can invision your mom in a cute little nurses dress, but your dad? That would be frightning!
Glad you get some down time from your Chemo Sabi!
When you get better you will have to visit us in Huron. Your dad's brother lives in Sandusky, just two houses from some good friends of ours.
Hey Sammy~
Great to hear that everything is going well and that the biop was nothing. You will be fine lady!
Love you
Sadie
Hi there,
Glad to hear that you are home and feeling better!!
Listen to your home nurses, you need to keep your strength up for round #2. How's the elma cream working for you?
Tell everyone Hi,
Love you guys,
Nancy B
Hi Sam!
Hope you are getting some well deserved rest and many, many kisses and tail wags from your little one!
Love you,
Amy
hey Sam,
You probably don't remember me - but I actually babysat for you and your sisters like 2 times when you were little. And I remember you playing soccer (and scoring lots of goals) on Erin's first soccer team. Anyway my parents (Susan and Jim Fahey) sent me your blog link and since then I've been keeping you in my prayers. I just read your blog for the last hour and I can't tell you how many times I've cracked up! You are one very funny, very impressively upbeat girl - keep it up!

P.S. - Nice work on playing the 'cancer card' for the dog...he is adorable!
Hi Sam,
It is your old, favorite coach Lyndsey. (I know, didn't expect to hear from me now did you?) I don't think I have ever posted a message on a blog page before, but don't forget that I am pretty old school at this point. (Yes, I am 26 already!) Anyway, I wanted to say hello and let you know that I am thinking about you and your family and praying for you everyday. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 4 years ago, and has been in remission for 2.5 years now. She still gets a form of chemotherapy (something called herceptin) every 3 weeks but is doing great. She has Dr. Dragon for a doctor also and I truly believe he is an angel. I know that with your strength and his knowledge... you are going to fight this thing with no problem. I would love to hear from you when you are able to email me. My email is: Lynz1408@aol.com.
Take care,
Lyndsey
