So it's Friday.. been a long week! I'm recovering from surgery and starting to feel better. I'm still real sore the the port being put in, but I'm walking fine now from the biopsy. All the of the tests and procedures went well on Tuesday, but boy was it a long day. My parents finally got their 'song' they've been hoping for me to sing when a nurse put some dilotin in my IV because I was in a lot of pain. After that I enjoyed the wheelchair ride and told mom to 'go faster weeee' and made up a song about how much i love dolotin. I also enjoyed the colorful elevators in the childrens section. Anyways, we're hoping to hear from Anderson today to give us the okay and that they agree with what the doctors think here. If all goes to plan I'll start chemo on Monday. If they don't agree... well then, we'll just deal with that when we get there! So hopefully today I'll have some good news to keep moving forward.. lots of love

Sam, I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better after the surgery. Looks like you are practicing your butt-kicking moves in the picture. Hopefully you'll get some good news from Anderson soon and things will start getting better. You are in my prayers. Have a fun weekend- thanks for keeping us updated.

Glad you're recovering well! And P.S...I like how everyone in your family is jumping and you're karate kicking in that picture. Alex had described that pic to me, and to my satisfaction upon seeing it, it was just as cheesy as expected. :) Love it! Not sure whether you've heard, but I plan on visiting soon!
