Sorry, It’s me again.
Sam wanted to write this blog but just never felt well enough to get it done. I’m sure she will follow it up when she is feeling better. WE’RE HOME! Sam and Dolly hitched a ride with the good people at Motorola on their Gulfstream 450 Corporate jet and flew in style. They had a swift, smooth and fast flight from Fort Lauderdale to Palwaukee on Thursday. We are very thankful to Corporate Angles and Motorola, especially since Sam was not feeling well that day and would never have endued a long day of flying commercial. After driving the car to the edge of the airport right up to the doors of the building where we were able to sit a wait in luxurious comfort, while the crew prepared the plane parked a couple hundred feet away, I don’t know how we ever want to go commercial again. Everyone was so friendly, no TSA, lines or crowds, it was really nice….for them anyways. Me… I had to drop them off and start the long drive home hauling all our stuff. I had planned my first stop for the night just three hours away at Cape Canaveral to try to catch the space shuttle launch. (By the time I got there Sam and Dolly were already home.) The timing was working out prefect for me until the blastoff was changed to Sunday night with no guarantee of a launch at that time. So I drove out of the Kennedy Space Center Friday listening to my new Andrew Bird and Radiohead CDs and made it home in time to watch the launch on TV.
As for Sammy, she got to spend a few days at home before a series of doctor appointments were scheduled this week. At the first one they decided to keep her and admitted her back in at the University of Chicago. Sam was still not feeling well and was very fatigued. At the doctors visit her fever spiked, indicating she must be battling some type of infection. They started her on antibiotic right away and placed her back on 6th floor of Comer with all her friends. They were all excited to see each other again. Hopefully Sam will be feeling a lot better and be out by this weekend.
We have a lot to do but hopefully we will get to see everyone soon.
Lots of Love,
Chris

Hey Hey Kiddo!
Uncle Mikey Here. What better thing to do on a Saturday Night than check out how my Sweet Niece is doing.
So I hear your back at my old stomping ground, and yours too. Amy has Finally got me to Ohio. So I won't be able to visit.
You're in great hands. Be tough!
