Still Here

Hi everyone I'm still here in the hospital.  The surgeries went fine, and it looks like Thursday will be when I'm getting a new port put back in on the other side.  I still feel  pretty crappy the fevers just finally ended a couple days ago.  I'm on antibiotics for now.  And also I have no appetite but have to force myself to eat the crap hospital food if I don't want a tube down my nose.  Thankfully my parents bring me food too.  Sorry so short but thats all for now.  Can't wait to get out of here.. almost been 2 weeks already.  I want to get out and get pumped for my visitors soon :)

lots of love
Sammy

Dear Sam,
It's cold, grey, and wet here in Glenview, but reading your words is like a ray of sunshine in our day! You amaze and inspire our family with your grit and determination to get well. We hope you'll be racing around soon again and enjoying your visitors outside the hospital. Hope you start enjoying food soon, too! Hugs from the Novaks

Keep blogging! Your strength, courage, humor and love are wonderful to see. Not only are you supported by so many people, you are inspiring them as well!

Besides, Florida is not such a bad place to be in November -- soon you'll be walking outside in the sunshine asking for more time there so you can show off a tan when you return to Glenview, ha!
