tuff cookie
Friday Sam showed the doctors how tough she can be. The Doctors told her the best thing she could do for herself right now is get out of bed and let gravity do it's thing. Sam who has been afraid to move because of the pain caused by moving, actually got out of bed and walked to the end of the (short) hallway and back to her bed. Then with tears coming down both of her cheeks she surprised us all and said "LET'S DO IT AGAIN " and she took another short walk. I think she actually felt better afterwards. It amazes us everyday how such a sweet kid can be so tough.

Hi Sammy,
I am so happy to hear that you havent given up and are still continuing to amaze everyone with your strength and ability to stay strong. You are such an inspiration to us all. Sam and I got a mini goldendoodle puppy yesterday and named her Ivy. As soon as you get home and are feeling better, I will bring her over so she and Bella can play! :) Keep fighting kiddo.

Sam I Am!!
We think about you 24 hours a day!
We know these days are hard and we are with you in spirit all the way....even friends of friends of friends! Dolly said you were extraordinarily brave today.
Don't you think its about time Uncle Mike starts a blog? You are a tough act to follow, but we could use the updates (and entertainment) and Mike is a very funny guy. Mikey? How about it? We are rooting for you too.
Love ya Sammy.

What a rollercoaster ride you're all on ...It is my hope and daily prayer that it is all over soon and life returns to "normal". Conversations centerd on sports not surgery, dinner not doctors, college not cancer. No more mention of insurance, oncology, test results or anything that has to do with the medical field.
May your entire family find rest, peace and comfort from all the love being sent your way by so very many people that your long "rollercoaster" ride has had such an increadible effect on.
