Hey all! So I'm sitting here on this fine Sunday Afternoon with Dad and Tony. We just finished playing some Guess Who and built a puzzle together. I've been thinking a lot about Bella at home and how much I miss her. Speaking of missing, I guess I miss my family too. I came into the hospital Sunday night for F+N (fun medical lingo for fever and neutropenia {even more fun medical lingo meaning bottomed out counts}) It's been a tough week with all the chemo side effects. I think the whipple procedure is still on for the 5th of May. I do hope I get to go home before that. We're having some slight difficulties....but honestly they would be a bit too much information (TMI). I've had a rough couple days in the hospital, but when you have nurses like Dasha, Stephanie, Sarah, Amy and so many many more it makes it go sooo much easier and smoother. The last sentence has literally taken me 20 minutues to write, so it's bed time. Oh, I wrote this blog in pieces haha my Dad and Tony left hours ago. Hope you did well in your baseball game Tony! Make sure you practice Bella's new tricks with her everyday if you can@ :) Love you everybody
lotts of Love

p.s. sorry if it makes no sense- i blame the continuous and plentiful abundance of dilaudid.
p.p.s. That pic is Dasha on the left, then me, then Steph! I love my nurses!!

Hi Sammy, that did take you a long time to complete and it was fine. You did good. Sammy has been worried about her writing because she been pretty drugged up dealing with pain. Hopefully the worst of it has passed and her blood counts should be on there way back up which should resolve a lot of her issues. Tony's team did win the game by a score of 21 -1. Tony was consistent in that he did manage to get hit by a pitch again. But Sammy your mother and I are getting ready to leave. We will see you in about 90 minutes and tell you all about it. We Love you-lots, Dad
Sammy,
Dorky?....no. Whacky?....um,yes. Loved your picture...I think you have some MAJOR peach fuzz action going there.
Glad to hear that things are improving....heard that this round was a rough one.
Lots of love...always. Amy

Hi Sammy,
This is Miss Eiseman - Tony's teacher. I have to tell you - your bracelets are a huge hit at Hoffman too. Everyone wants one! We are all praying for you. Best wishes.

Hi Sammy,
We're so happy that your surgery is still on schedule. Keep up your great effort. You are an inspiration to many people and we send you heaps of love. Can't wait to hear what Bella learned when she was away. What a cutie she is!
